The Packers drafted Reed 50th overall this spring after a college career that saw him go for 797 yards as a freshman at Western Michigan and 2,069 yards the following three seasons at Michigan State. He had his best year as a junior with 1,026 yards and 10 TDs, then dropped to 636 yards and five TDs last season while battling foot, hip and back injuries. Reed has a chance at a key role early in his career, joining the youngest WR room in the league with his main competition for playing time being second-year pros Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs. The Packers also have 2023 fifth-rounder Dontayvion Wicks and 2022 seventh-rounder Samori Toure, while the roster doesn’t have any older players with NFL starting experience to help new QB Jordan Love.
