A video recaps the match last week between Mariah May and Anna Jay. May is backstage and says she hates women’s wrestling. She says she used to be all for women supporting women and making history, but then she won the AEW women’s title, and she realized she’s surrounded by pathetic little s***s. She says they can’t even look her in the eyes, because they know the truth: May isn’t in their division, they are in hers, and if she was them, she would thank May for standing on their necks. May says her prime is being wasted because no one can touch her, and it’s lonely being the only. She says years from now, people will wonder who killed women’s wrestling. She says it was her, she did it.
Now Anna Jay is backstage with Lexy Nair who asks for her reaction. Jay tells Mariah that she’s done more than touch May, she’s beaten her. And the next time she gets her hands on May, she’s going to choke her out until she p***es herself. Jay challenges May to a third match, no disqualification. If Jay doesn’t win, she’ll never challenge May again. Jay says every woman here wants the title and her head. On Wednesday she’s going to bring back both. Just try her.
