Jackson to Arsenal?

Arsenal have identified Chelsea star Nicolas Jackson as one of their targets to bolster the centre-forward department, according to journalist Duncan Castles.

The Gunners are exploring the transfer market for a new striker. Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko have been named as the main targets.

The club have not made progress in signing either of them, and reports claim that Jackson is one of the wildcard options for the north London giants.

Jackson has been with Chelsea for the past two years, but his future is uncertain. The Blues have already signed a new striker in Liam Delap this summer.

They are keen on landing another marksman. In that case, the door could open for Jackson’s departure and Arsenal seem to be exploring a possible deal.

Jackson has been inconsistent during his time at Chelsea with just 30 goals from 80 appearances. If Arsenal were to sign him, it may not go well with the fans.

The club’s faithful may ideally want a more productive goalscorer.
