The Indian women’s cricket team registered its highest total against England in T20 Internationals during its first match at Trent Bridge in Nottingham on Saturday.
The Women in Blue posted 210 in 20 overs with Smriti Mandhana leading from the front, who scored her maiden century in the format.
Their previous highest total against England was 198 at Brabourne stadium in Mumbai in 2018.
The total is also India’s second-highest in the format against any side and only the third instance that the Women in Blue have crossed the 200-run mark.
