Manchester United are reportedly leading the race to sign Brazilian midfielder Ederson from Atalanta at the end of the campaign.
The Red Devils are determined to bolster their midfield ahead of next season and Ederson has been linked for the past 12 months.
It is now reported that United are in advantageous position ahead of Manchester City and Juventus in the race for Ederson.
The club will step up their interest after the Europa League final, but it will take at least £50 million to persuade Atalanta into a deal.
Ederson was a top target for the Red Devils last summer, but a deal did not materialise as Atalanta were reluctant to sanction his sale.
The club ended up recruiting Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain, but they are poised to return for Ederson later this summer.
The Bergamo outfit have already sold Rasmus Hojlund and Amad Diallo to United in the past, but are unlikely to provide any discount.
