Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has opened the door to joining Bayern Munich during the summer transfer window, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
The England international fell out-of-favour under manager Ruben Amorim in December last year, and he was loaned out to Aston Villa last winter with a £40 million option to buy.
Rashford had a good loan stint with 10 goal contributions before a hamstring injury. He is now expected to return to Old Trafford with Villa having opted against a transfer.
Barcelona continue to remain Rashford’s preferred destination, but reports claim that they are focused on landing Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao instead.
As a result, Rashford may have to choose an alternative solution and Jacobs claim that he would be open to joining Bayern Munich on a permanent basis.
Bayern are on the hunt for a new winger and could be prepared to meet the £40m price tag for Rashford as well as meet his current £300,000 per week salary.
