Jasprit Bumrah became Mumbai Indians’ leading wicket-taker in the Indian Premier League after picking up the wicket of Aiden Markram during the IPL 2025 encounter against the Lucknow Super Giants at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday.
With 171 wickets, Bumrah moves ahead of Sri Lankan Lasith Malinga at the top of the standings. Harbhajan Singh is placed third in the list with 127 scalps.
The Indian pacer has a bowling average of 22.64 and an economy rate of 7.31 in 139 matches, while Malinga tallied 170 wickets in 122 matches with an economy of 7.14 and average of 19.79.
Across all T20 competitions, Malinga continues to be on top with 195 wickets, with Bumrah following behind with 174.
