Ranji Trophy 2024-25: Mumbai announces squad for quarterfinal against Haryana – Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube return


The Mumbai Cricket Association on Monday announced an 18-member squad for the side’s Ranji Trophy 2024/25 quarterfinal match against Haryana in Lahli, starting on February 8 in Lahli.

India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav returns to the squad along with all-rounder Shivam Dube. Suryakumar last played First-Class cricket for Mumbai earlier this season, scoring seven runs in the side’s nine-wicket win over Maharashtra.

Internationals Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer and Yashasvi Jaiswal, who played in the sixth round against Jammu & Kashmir were not included.

Ajinkya Rahane will continue to lead the side as it aims to defend its title. Centurions from the Mumbai’s final group-stage game against Meghalaya, Siddhesh Lad and Akash Anand, continue in the squad.
