Gyokeres wants Arsenal move after rejecting Saudi bids

Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres has his sights on joining Arsenal after turning down two offers from the Saudi Pro League, according to Portuguese outlet Record.

The Sweden international had a sensational campaign with the Primeira Liga giants. He scored 54 goals and provided 13 assists from just 52 games for the Lisbon giants.

He is now keen on securing a bigger challenge. Saudi giants Al Hilal and Al Qadsiah have attempted to sign him, but Gyokeres only wants to move to the Premier League.

Gyokeres has the preference to join the Gunners and it remains to be seen whether they can secure a deal. Sporting are ready to sell him for €70m with €10m in add-ons.

Arsenal are currently willing to pay €60m plus €10m in add-ons, but could be willing to increase the package. Gyokeres has already agreed terms with the London heavyweights.

Manchester United have also expressed an interest in the striker, but Gyokeres prefers to join the Gunners to play Champions League football.
