A third-round pick in this year’s draft, Bigsby is an upright runner with a poor anchor at 6-0, 210, but he perhaps can offset that concern with above-average burst (4.56 40, 1.54 10-yard split) and creativity as a runner. He was a good but not great starter at Auburn the last three years, totaling 2,903 yards and 25 touchdowns on 540 carries (5.4 YPC) in 35 games. Bigsby’s unremarkable production indicates average skill as a runner, and his combine testing confirmed he is only an average athlete, so for him to emerge as a fantasy standout likely will require favorable circumstances. On the other hand, Travis Etienne can only take so much work and the incumbent Jacksonville backups aren’t special, so Bigsby doesn’t need to do much to emerge as the No. 2. Free-agent acquisition D’Ernest Johnson is the main obstacle, and he got less than $1 million guaranteed on a one-year contract.
