Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has signed New Zealand wicketkeeper-batter Tim Seifert as a replacement for Jacob Bethell, who will leave the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on May 24 to join the England national team.

Bethell will be available for RCB’s final league-stage match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 23 before his departure.

Seifert, who has represented New Zealand in 66 T20Is and scored 1,540 runs, will join RCB for Rs 2 crore. His inclusion will be effective from May 24.
