The 2025 edition of the Women’s Premier League has seen many records being set and broken across the four legs of the tournament.

On Tuesday, WPL 2025 broke the record for the most number of sixes hit in a single edition of the competition during the match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.

It was RCB’s Georgia Wareham who ended her side’s innings with a maximum, taking the seasons’ tally to 169 sixes which broke the record.
